HOW CAN I FIND OUT WHAT MY AUDIENCE IS TWEETING?
Cubeyou has included an added layer of visibility in the form of a new tab called ‘Conversations’ This tab will allow you the ability to monitor your target’s twitter engagements in real time.
First, you will have to select your target and then analyze. For the example, we selected the brand Omission Beer and analyzed. Then Proceed to the left hand navigation tab in Cubeyou, and select the conversation bubble icon which will lead you to the new ‘conversations’ section.
You will need to login with your Twitter account. If you do not have one, you will need to create one to access this feature.
Once you click the ‘Log in with Twitter’ button, you will have access to the new section.
For each data point you will have Reach and Affinity just hover over the charts in the section overview and a pop-up will appear showing you the indexes.
Currently, Cubeyou will allow you to look at conversations over the past week, two weeks, and month. Select the time frame on the top right of the conversation tab as shown in the image below.

CONVERSATION STYLE AND TOP HASHTAGS:
Conversation style is helpful to determine what types of content appeal to your audience the most. For example, determine if your audience is a uses more re-tweeting over using emojis, or links. This will also help you determine how social your particular audience is compared to the average American, by quickly seeing how they over/under index in those categories. Cubeyou tracks all the following contents used in the panelists' tweets in the Conversation style chart:
- Media (Pictures and video)
Note: If a tweet contains two of the above contents it will be accounted for both, so for example if a tweet contains a link and also a hashtag it will add up to both Reach percentages in the Conversation Style chart.
Benefit: tailor the type of message you create based on the type of content your audience prefers, if they share a lot of videos and photos they are more visual if they retweet a lot they will be very influenced by what other people say!
TOP EMOJI'S AND TOP MENTIONS:
Emojis are very helpful to understand the mood of your target, do they use a lot of happy faces and positive images? Or are they crying and angry?
Benefit: You can adjust your communication based on their current mood.
TOP LINKS AND TOP KEYWORDS:
Top links and top keywords are here to show you the most used links and words within your audience’s tweets ordered by Affinity. The link or keyword does not need to be tagged in order to appear in this list.
Benefit: this section is very important to help you understand the things that really matter to them and their topics of conversation, is it politics? Feelings? Family?
TOP DAYS AND TOP HOURS:
Top days shows you what days of the week your audience is more active on Twitter, and top hours gets even more specific by telling you what hours during the day your audience has the highest activity level. You can then finally also compare with the Twitter behavior of the average American and see if your audience is more or less active.
Benefit: this will help you strategize on the timing of your communication.
